DATA COLLECTION WHEN VISITING OUR WEBPAGES

In case of merely informative use of our website, ie. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”).

When you visit our website, we collect the following information which is technically necessary for us to display the website. This usage data may include information such as your computer’s internet protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data including the source/reference from which you came to the page. 

TRACKING AND COOKIES

In order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our service and hold certain information. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

When contacting us (for example via contact form or e-mail), personal data is collected. The type of data collected can be seen in each respective form. These data are stored and used solely for the purpose of answering your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, then the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question is finally clarified and provided there are no conflicting statutory storage requirements.

If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. Mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address alone. The indication of further possible data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have explicitly confirmed to us that you agree to the sending of the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm by clicking on a link that you wish to receive newsletters in the future. By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. When registering for the newsletter, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of the registration in order to understand possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later date. The data collected by us when registering for the newsletter will be used exclusively for promotional purposes by means of the newsletter. You can cancel the newsletter at any time via the provided link in the newsletter or by sending a message to klaus@innovationlabs.berlin. After cancellation, your e-mail address will be deleted immediately in our newsletter distribution, as far as you have not expressly consented to a further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data usage, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to send you regular offers for similar goods or services, such as those already purchased, from our range by e-mail. For this we do not have to obtain separate consent from you in accordance with § 7 Abs. 3 UWG. In this respect, data processing takes place solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalized direct mail in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. If you have initially objected to the use of your e-mail address for this purpose, we will not send you a mail. You are entitled to object to the use of your e-mail address for the purpose described above at any time with effect for the future by a message to klaus@innovationlabs.berlin. Upon receipt of your objection, the use of your e-mail address for advertising purposes will cease.

YOUTUBE VIDEOS

This site uses Youtube Embedding feature to display and play videos from “Youtube”, which is owned by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google“). We use the extended privacy mode, which according to the provider stores user information only when playing the / the video in motion. When the playback of embedded Youtube videos starts, the provider “Youtube” uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to “Youtube” hints, these are used, among other things, to capture video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive practices. If you’re logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account when you click a video. If you do not wish to associate with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for non-logged-in users) as usage profiles and evaluates them. According to Art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR, such an evaluation is based on the legitimate interests of Google in the display of personalized advertising, market research and / or tailor-made design of its website. You have a right to object to the creation of these User Profiles directly with YouTube.

Regardless of any playback of the embedded video, every time you visit this website, it will connect to the Google Network “DoubleClick”, which may trigger further data processing without us having any influence. GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity. SERVICE PROVIDERS & MISCELLANEOUS

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) for consistent presentation of fonts. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. As a result, Google learns that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer.

RETENTION OF DATA
